An AI app builder for real businesses
Trontra Apps turns a short brief into a written spec, then into a real Next.js and Supabase app with login, payments and email. Every build is checked before you see it, and publishing waits until the app is safe to take money.
In private alpha. Sign-up opens to everyone soon.
How it works
There is no blank prompt box. You describe the business, approve what the app is, and every change after that is built, verified and shown in a live preview.
Answer five questions: what it is, who uses it, what they must be able to do, how it makes money and which services it needs.
The AI writes a plain-language spec of pages, roles, data and flows, with open questions for you. You edit it and approve it. Code follows the spec, not the chat.
The builder edits a production template in a private sandbox. Nothing reaches your preview until typecheck, lint, build and tests pass.
Launch Readiness scores security, payments, email, legal, SEO, speed and more. Most fixes are one click. Blocking items must pass before you publish.
Go live on your own trontra.app address or your domain, with versions and one-click rollback.
After the first build, ask for changes in plain words or pin a comment on the preview. Each change is a new version you can roll back.
Launch Readiness
Every app carries a readiness score, re-checked after each build. It covers what usually goes wrong after launch, not just whether the page renders.
Row-level security on every table, headers and CSP, no secrets in the code
Stripe connected, webhook registered and verified, idempotent
Sending domain verified, auth emails sent from you
Privacy, terms and contact pages, linked in the footer
Metadata, sitemap, robots and social images on every page
Lab speed scores on key pages
No critical axe violations, labelled forms
Error monitoring, health route, friendly error pages
TLS, HSTS and a www redirect on your domain
Publishing waits until every blocking check passes. Most fixes are one click: the builder makes the change and checks it again. Developer mode can publish past a check with a written reason, which is kept in the app’s history.
Ownership
Export is free and tested. There is no eject step and no Trontra runtime inside your app.
Every version is a real Git commit. Link a GitHub repo and each version is pushed to it. Pushes you make there build too.
Take ownership moves the live app into your own Vercel account, domains included, with no downtime. The old address redirects for 30 days.
Your app runs on your own Supabase project, connected in one click. It talks to its database directly; Trontra never sits in the middle.
Every repo ships with an AGENTS.md, so Cursor, Claude Code or a person can pick up exactly where the builder stopped.
Agents inside
Put one of your Trontra agents on your app as a chat. It answers from your instructions and can use read-only tools your app provides, only for what the signed-in visitor may see. Its conversations use your workspace credits.
Honest scope
Every app starts from a production template Trontra maintains, so quality comes from the template and the checks, not from luck.

Questions
No. Guided mode never shows code: you work with the spec, the preview and the readiness list. Developer mode adds the file tree, Git, logs and model choice when you want them.
Web apps for a business: client portals, booking and scheduling, memberships and subscriptions, internal tools, marketplaces in time. It builds one stack, Next.js with Supabase, Stripe and Resend, and builds it well. It does not build mobile apps or games.
Yes, and it is free. Link GitHub and every version lands in your repo. Take ownership moves the live app into your own Vercel account with its domains. Nothing in the code depends on Trontra.
Three things. You approve a written spec before any code is built. Every change is checked before it reaches the preview. And publishing is gated on Launch Readiness, so the app is safe to charge customers before it goes live.
The AI never sees secret values, only whether a key is set. Keys are encrypted at rest and injected at build and run time. Your customers' data lives in your own Supabase project.
Yes. Pick one of your Trontra agents and it appears as a chat on your app. It can use read-only tools from your app, such as finding the right page, and answers only for what the signed-in visitor may see.
